Hello! I'm Tao, a dedicated game designer specializing in game design and experience design.

After graduating from the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University, I've devoted 10 months in the development of 'Skyweaver,' an innovative web3 trading card game, channeling my passion for crafting unique and fun gaming experiences.

Game Projects

Junior Game Designer

Genre: Strategy TCG

Platform: PC (Browser), Mobile (iOS, Android)

  • Drafted the foundational document for “Draft Mode," organizing card distribution of the “main” and “support” card pools for an optimal learning curve.

  • Designed over 150 “boons” for “Draft Mode” and led a redesign of the event system.

  • Conducted QA for game features, identifying bugs and suggesting design improvements.

  • Proposed a complete redesign of the Quest system in order to enhancing player engagement.

  • Collaborated with external teams on SFX, music, and tutorial webpage for “Draft Mode”.

  • Innovated new hero abilities and card designs, and actively provided feedback to colleagues.
